Registration for Upward Basketball & Cheerleading at Forestville Baptist Church in Anderson Twp opens on Sunday, October 1st! Your child must be 5 on or before January 1, 2024 to participate. Program Details:
We offer a cheer squad and (4) co-ed basketball divisions:

Cheer: K5-6th (Will consider creating 2 squads if we have enough participants)

Basketball:
K5: 7.5' hoop 1st/2nd grade: 8' hoop
K5-2nd use 27.5" ball, no score is kept
3rd/4th grade: 9' hoop
5th/6th grade: 10' hoop
3rd-6th use 28.5" ball, full court, score is kept but reset at halftime

Program Schedule:

Practice will be once a week on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday starting the first week of January

First Game: January 12th or 13th 8 games in total

All practices and games are at FBC - 1311 Nagel Rd

Friend Requests:
Our goal is to make teams as balanced as possible. In order to do that, we only allow 1 friend request/carpool link per player. The other player must also list your child as a carpool link.

Once registration is complete, your child will be asked to attend one evaluation below.

Evaluations:
All participants must attend one of the following evaluations. These are open-house style, come anytime during the evaluation.
Note: A picture of your child will be taken to use on game days!

Evaluations are used to help us make teams as balanced as possible, it is NOT a tryout!

Coaches/Refs:
We are always looking for parent coaches and referees. We provide training and a coach playbook. If you are interested in either being a head coach/assistant coach or ref, please select this during registration.
